This is a BOB group, run by Orpington u3a, but open to members of Bromley, Orpington and Beckenham.
Forget the stereotyped image of Cowboy hats and boots. Line Dancing is a choreographed sequence of steps done in lines to great tracks of music. It covers every genre of dance including ballroom, Latin, Irish, Scottish and funky. It’s great fun, excellent exercise for both body and mind, and you will meet lots of others that love to dance. Come and join the fun and laugh whilst keeping fit with our teacher, Shirley. No partner required.
Meets: 2nd and 4th Tuesday, 11 am - 12:30 pm at St Paul's Church, Crofton Road.
Costs: £2 per month towards Hall hire, then £3 each month to our instructor, Shirley. Tea or coffee 20p, bring your own cup.
Over 50 members in the group with around 35 attending each month. We have vacancies.
