Membership Renewal Guidance
If you have previously renewed online and haven’t changed your email address, enter your email address and click on Confirm Identity. Then enter your password and click on Confirm Identity again. Once you are successfully logged in proceed as per NEXT STEPS below.
If you have forgotten your password, click on Forgotten Password, enter your email address and click on Reset Password. You will be sent an email with a link to update your password. If nothing arrives within a few minutes check your spam folder.
If you have asked us to update your email address since you last renewed online, click on Verify Email and follow the instructions to reset your password.
If you are renewing online for the first time, when you enter your email address and click on Confirm Identity, you will be asked to enter the following information.
Enter your information exactly as below then select Confirm Identity.
Membership No. MEMNO
Forename. FORENAME
Surname. SURNAME
Postcode. POSTCODE (Include the space)
Email address. EMAIL
TAKE CARE TO ENTER DETAILS EXACTLY AS SHOWN ABOVE.
Once you have successfully identified yourself, you will be asked to create a password. Once you have done this you will be sent an email with a link. Click on the link and you will be able to login with your email address and password. If nothing arrives within a few minutes check your spam folder as the link only works for an hour. If you leave it too late, proceed as per If you have forgotten your password, above.
NEXT STEPS
Under Select an option: Click Update Your Personal Details and ensure everything is up to date. We are asking members to provide us with Emergency Contact Details this year. You also have the option to provide us with a Known as if you would like to be addressed by something other than your forename, e.g. Michael might prefer to be address as Mike. Once you are done, click Update Personal Details to confirm any changes then click Members Portal at the top of the page.
COMPLETING YOUR RENEWAL
Under Select an option: Click Renew your membership and follow the instructions.
You will be asked whether you wish to Gift Aid your donation. You must tick the Yes or No box.
If you share your address with another member of Orpington u3a you will be classed as a Joint Member and asked to renew both of you in a single transaction.
PLEASE NOTE: If you are classed as Joint Members and elect to Gift Aid, the full payment will be classed as Gift Aid in your name.
If you do not wish to renew both of you, please contact the membership Secretary at MembersAdmin@u3aOrpington.org.uk to have your Membership Class amended to Individual.
Click Make Payment to proceed then click Continue to PayPal to complete payment.
When you get to the Login to PayPal screen, select the Pay by Debit or Credit Card option. (you do not need to have your own PayPal account).
Next, enter your email address and click Continue to Payment.
You are now asked to enter your card details and billing address. If the Save Information & Create Your PayPal Account Box is ticked, untick it. You will then see an option to Pay Now as a Guest.
You will immediately receive an email by PayPal when payment has been made.
