Pickleball
Orpington u3a members please logon to see group leader contact details.

Pickleball is a fun sport that combines elements of Badminton, Tennis, and Table Tennis. Played on a Badminton court with a lower net. 2 or 4 players use solid paddles to hit a perforated polymer ball, over a net.
Easy to pick up and a great way to exercise, pickleball is fast becoming one of the most popular racket sports in the world and is already being offered by over 100 u3as. It's a fun, low-impact, social sport that can be played as either singles or doubles (We play doubles).
The groups are open to players of all abilities, beginners will be helped. Please wear trainers or other rubber soled shoes.
